Abstract
Speculation and uncertainty had surrounded Rex from the time he arrived at the University. No one accused him directly of anything, but over time, many professors in Rex's degree program did not consider him to be trustworthy or ethical. In the end, only two professors would write letters of recommendation for him, and even they refused to do so after awhile. Rex wanted desperately to remain in the US, but couldn't get a job without recommendations. Did he forge some?
