The Museum Studies Program at the George Washington University created an online graduate certificate program in Museum Collections Management and Care (MCMC) in order to address the need for accessible and affordable training for museum professionals. The distance education program consists of four courses that cover legal and ethical issues, collections management and preventive conservation.
