Abstract
There is no single literature that gives an account of the many different heritage plans in academia and the field. Community heritage planning projects of intangible heritage conducted by the Museum of Texas Tech University's Center for Advanced Study of Museum Science and Heritage Management (CFAS) will be discussed. These case studies will address the intangible heritage of a community and the connection of past, present, and future cultures through community heritage planning. Special focal points of this paper are historical events and organizations as a part of intangible heritage.
