Abstract
Kuczynski AM, Dukelow SP, Semerau JA, Kirton A. Robotic quantification of position sense in children with perinatal stroke. Neurorehabil Neural Repair. 2016;30:762-772. doi:10.1177/1545968315624781.
On page 769, the Table 2 titled “Sensitivity, Specificity, and Predictive Values of Clinical Bedside Tests Compared to Robotic Variability for All Children With Stroke” is incorrect.
The authors found that they miscalculated values for sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values. This does not have any significant effect on the authors’ conclusions.
The updated Table 2 is shown below.
Sensitivity, Specificity, and Predictive Values of Clinical Bedside Tests Compared to Robotic Variability for All Children With Stroke a .
Abbreviations: TLT, Thumb Localization Test; SEN, sensitivity; SPC, specificity; PPV, positive predictive value; NPV, negative predictive value.
Data are shown for all 40 children with perinatal stroke. Clinical measures of the affected limb are provided.
