Abstract
Greetings! In this month’s issue, we feature a timely and important Directions for Research article documenting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Plan on Rehabilitation. This Plan was spearheaded by the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and presents the 5-year plan for research priorities in rehabilitation across NIH institutes. As this Plan will guide the NIH rehabilitation research agenda for several years, and will likely influence the development of a number of specific funding priorities, we urge you to review the document. This article is being published concurrently by several of the leading journals in the field of rehabilitation.
