Abstract
This paper discusses a systems engineering approach for integrating human factors in telephony product design and development process. The process is described in detail and the fun and challenges are discussed. Recommendations are made for the challenges facing the human factors engineer. The purpose is to come up with strategies to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of integrating human factors in the product design and development process.
