Abstract
This paper describes the design, implementation and evaluation of an interactive sketching technique for usability testing that utilizes only existing technologies and methods. The basic shortcoming of traditional paper based sketching is its lack of interactivity. This inability is overcome by digitizing the sketch and importing the resulting image(s) into PowerPoint™. PowerPoints™ powerful presentation features allow introduction of interactivity to the paper prototype without the need for special software or training. This is accomplished by hyperlinking various areas of the screen to simulate dynamic behaviors.
