Japan faces the big problems of slow recovery from recession, strong yen, aging society and so forth. Nowadays, Japanese companies try to implement a variety of survival straregy in the company and then an intervention of “Kaizen” is not so powerful to solve these problems and to survive as it used to be. This paper deals with a reengineering participatory ergonomics and macroergonomics applied to a chemical fiber company.
