Abstract
This paper discusses the use and construction of a data acquisition control software developed for Biomechanical studies. The software is developed for an IBM PC micro-computer and enables the IBM PC system to interact with the ISAAC 2000 data acquisition system for collecting biomechanical data. The software utilizes the Isaac Command Language (ICL) residing in the EPROM of the data acquisition system. The use of this application software enables the experimenter to have greater control and selection during data collection and allows him to perform a quality control check over the collected data at a relatively faster rate.
