Concept Flying—A Method for Deriving Unique System Requirements

Abstract

This article discusses a methodology for flying advanced concepts for piloted vehicles and proposed applications for that methodology. Concept flying, in the most simplistic definition, can be pictured as scaling down a flight environment, inserting operators, and then intuitively looking at the operators response in the situation.
