This study was designed to evaluate the relative effectiveness of three different types of feedback (visual, auditory, or both visual and auditory) provided to an operator during a simulated voice controlled weapon launch scenario. The results showed a significant difference between type of feedback used, and indicated how feedback should be provided to an operator.
