Abstract
A successful method of recruiting women for the masters degree in Industrial Engineering is described fully including the following: (1) Source of students, (2) Competition for these students from industry and other institutions, (3) Common characteristics, (4) Hindrance to their recruitment and progress and, (5) Recommendation for recruitment programs.
Of the nine active women graduate students registered Winter Quarter 1974 with the School of Engineering were registered in our program. We had a total of 21 students that quarter.
