Many domains are trying to improve safety by incorporating human factors principles into their system requirements. However, incorporating these principles and methods creates challenges for verification and the validation processes. This panel will discuss verification and validation challenges for human factors professionals involved in the design and development of complex human-operated systems, how they are addressing these issues now, and what is needed to address future challenges.
