Abstract
Expanding the large body of existing knowledge on training and assessing teams to include larger, more complex operations—teams-of-teams—presents a multitude of practical and theoretical challenges. Technology has been developed for conducting live-virtual-constructive (LVC) training that allow tens to hundreds of individuals to share the same live or simulated training environments. But the theory, methods, and technologies that will make this training and assessment most effective for large operations are still being developed. This panel will open for discussion both the practical challenges of team-of-teams training and assessment and the theories, methods, and technologies that are being developed to meet those challenges.
