Abstract
Systems are always in some phase of development. Large scale systems development activities are often required by the Government. Without the required Government in-house expertise, Contractors provide a significant amount of the technical expertise necessary to achieve systems development. This panel will explore various views of that system development from the perspective of a large systems integrator, a manager of Human Systems Integration (HSI) professionals, a “bench level” HSI professional and an academic institute provider of advanced technology solutions. Discussion will encompass the different perspectives, tools, techniques and approaches required for these different aspects of system development within the systems engineering activity.
