Abstract
The ANSI Z535 Accredited Standards Committee is in the process of creating a new standard, ANSI Z535.6, which will address the presentation of safety information in product-accompanying literature (owner's manuals, instruction sheets, etc.). The Z535.6 subcommittee is completing a draft that will be considered by the Z535 committee in 2004. This panel session is intended to provide information about the proposed standard, its development, its application, and other issues related to the provision of safety information in product-accompanying literature.
