Abstract
This study aimed the design and implementation of a plan for job rotation, as well as the workstation' improvement at the three radio assembly lines for the automotive industry in order to prevent and reduce the cumulative trauma disorders affecting the upper limbs.
It was carried out in three phases: ergonomic analysis, design and development of the plan for job rotation and proposal for workstation improvement and implementation, as well as the corresponding evaluation and re-adjustments. The preliminary results of the implementation of the plan for job rotation express a decreasing amount of the complains in 40% and for the number of the seack-leaves repetitive work-related.
