A 3-D biomechanical human model using OWAS codes of working postures as input was developed. The output gives biomechanical load on the shoulder and low back as a function of time. This new approach enables the simple postural observations to be analyzed in a biomechanical way with concerning the different body parts simultaneously in sequential time.
