Abstract
The proper use of ergonomic programs and procedures for the manufacturing sector Will not only influence quality and productivity, but also the comfort and well being of the end-users; and at the same timebearing in mind the costs that maybe incurred as no company (no matter how big or small) has an “open” purse. With this in mind a program was put into operation, at Monkstown, to investigate and reduce where possible the risks within the manufacturing processes, and this in turn lead to a major cost reduction.
