Abstract
The aim of the project was to improve shoulder-neck-back health, give an understanding for coping with pain and keep the participants in the workforce.
126 participants followed an intervention (physical training and relaxation) 2 hours twice weekly for 3 month. Before and after the training period a questionnaire was filled in with questions of among other life style, self-rated health and symptoms from muscles and joints.
The main results were a drop in pain within the last week in 8 of out of 9 regions of the body, decrease in reports of sickness and improvement in self-rated health after the intervention as well as self-rated health compared to last year.
