Abstract
The Deutsche Bahn AG is developing a new version of control-centres. Only seven of these facilities will be necessary to supervise and control the whole railway network in Germany. The paper describes the procedure to design a model to estimate the amount of personal required in the future. Several steps were necessary for this, begun with investigation on site via simulatorsessions up to the draft of a model considering expert knowledge.
