Abstract
Usability and style in better automobiles have been pressing needs for greater investments from car industries, styling centers and research centers on transportation design. Since 1993 the CPqD-ED/UEMG (Center for Research and Development in Design and Ergonomics in the School of Design of the State University of Minas Gerais) has been accumulating extensive quality experiences in the development of concept cars. The main philosophy is to merge design with ecology and usability in the interaction of the user with the product in the environment where it's destined to.
