A patient with coarctation of infrarenal inferior vena cava is described. The clinical presentation and venogram were suggestive of inferior vena cava ob struction. The diagnosis of coarctation of inferior vena cava was made at lapa rotomy. The patient had a good response to cavoplasty with complete resolution of symptoms. A brief review of coarctation of inferior vena cava, a rare condi tion, is outlined.
