One case of primary dissecting aneurysm of the infrarenal abdominal aorta, diagnosed by ultrasound scanning, computed tomography, and angiography, is presented. Etiology, incidence, and diagnosis of abdominal aortic dissection are discussed, and a survey of the literature is included.
