In order to avoid errors of evaluation during reconstructive arterial surgery, some surgical teams, in addition to their personal skill and experience, have so far mainly employed intraoperative angiography. This method, still good and precise, but slightly unsafe and requiring very expensive equipment, is not ex empt from some limits, which have been clearly described. 2,15,16
