Differences in Learning Styles of Dominican and Puerto Rican Students: We Are Latinos From the Caribbean;Our First Language Is Spanish,However;Our Learning Preferences Are Different
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Dominican and Puerto Rican students’ learning style. Findings of the study demonstrated differences between the learning preferences of Dominican and Puerto Rican students in the elements of Motivation (t = 2.846, p = .005), Several Ways of Learning (t = 2.351, p = .020), and Tactile (t = 3.469; p = .001).
El propósito de este estudio fue el de examinar la relación entre los estilos de aprendizaje de estudiantes dominicanos y puertorriqueños. Los hallazgos de este estudio demostraron diferencias entre las preferencias de aprendizaje de los estudiantes dominicanos y puertorriqueños en los elementos de motivación (t = 2.846, p = .005), varias formas de aprendizaje (t = 2.351, p = .020) y táctil (t = 3.469, p = .001).
