Abstract
The growth of the Hispanic population, and current Texas legislation highlight the need for an effective recruitment strategy by community colleges. Many work-bound, at-risk Hispanic high school students are not targeted in recruitment practices. This study aimed to describe the frequency and perceived effectiveness of recruitment tools used to recruit this population. The findings suggested that the participants did not implement what they perceived to be the most effective ways to recruit the population.
