There have been several enhancements to the strs command. The using file can now be read from the web. Two new options, cilog and noconfirm, have been added. indweight() now gives warning messages if weights are zero, missing, or negative. There have been various minor bug fixes. st0528_1: eq5dmap: A command for mapping between EQ-5D-3 L and EQ-5D-5 L. M. Hernández-Alava and S. Pudney. Stata Journal 18: 395–415.

This new version of the command is based on an updated mapping between EQ-5D- 5 L and EQ-5D-3 L analysis. The same statistical model (Hernández-Alava and Pudney 2017) has been estimated on a single large-sample dataset specifically collected to overcome some of the limitations of the previously used datasets (Hernández-Alava, Pudney, and Wailoo 2020). There are two differences in the syntax of the command:

1. The option model() is no longer available because there is now a single model based on the new improved dataset.

2. The variable age can now be coded either in years or as an age-band.

The icio command exploits intercountry input–output (ICIO) tables for the computation of several measures of trade in value added and participation in global value chains. ¹ Because new versions of ICIO tables are periodically released by international institutions and data providers, we need to update them for allowing icio users to work with the latest release. This update fixes a bug that prevented us from providing timely updates to the ICIO tables.

Furthermore, as shown in the following example, the updated version of the command explicitly displays information about the ICIO table release and the year selected for the analysis:
