Abstract
The Journal Editor hereby issue an Editor’s note for the following article:

The Journal Editor and Sage were alerted by the authors of a publication that describes one or more non-verifiable human cell lines.

The cell line, MGC803 was mislabeled in the Sage article as BGC803 and that recently it has been found to be a coculture of the MGC803 and HeLa cell lines. Since the authors have obtained similar observations using the MKN45 cell line, the Journal Editor’s believe that the data presented are valid and hereby issue a note to alert the readers of the journal.
The mislabelling has now been corrected and this note replaces the Expression of concern previously published on the article.
