Abstract
This article addresses a significant research gap by creating a comprehensive theoretical framework for Person-Organization (P-O) spirituality fit, offering a holistic view of spirituality in the workplace. The framework emphasizes the congruence of individual and organizational values by synthesizing P-O fit and workplace spirituality theories. It examines individual and workplace spirituality, progresses through fit assessment, and considers both individual and organizational outcomes, aiming to enhance workplace spirituality fit. Drawing on both P-O fit and workplace spirituality literature, the study highlights the multidimensional nature of spirituality in professional settings and its implications for human resource development (HRD). Key research areas include the influence of spiritual alignment on talent management, leadership development, and employee retention. The findings aim to provide a foundation for empirical research and practical applications, contributing to more spiritually aligned and effective workplaces.
