As a consultant in obstetrics and gynecology, with Western medical training in a surgical orientation, but also as a practitioner of acupuncture, one can obtain great satisfaction from acupuncture study and practice. When used in the treatment of functional gynecological diseases, acupuncture can be an effective alternative or adjuvant therapy. Careful selection of patients and establishing a precise diagnosis are indispensable in order to obtain good results.
