Abstract

Chen G, Zhu L, Yang Y, et al. Prognostic Role of Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio in Ovarian Cancer: A Meta-Analysis. Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment. 2018;17: 1-8. Original DOI: doi.org/10.1177/1533033818791500
In the above referenced article the authors have re-evaluated the pooled HRs and found that the conclusions were unchanged (OS: HR=1.64, 95% CI=1.41 -1.90, p=0.000; PFS: HR=1.61, 95% CI=1.42 -1.83, p=0.000). The forest plots have been corrected.

Forest plots of studies evaluating HR with 95% CI of NLR for OS in subgroup analysis by ethnicity. The center of each square represents the HR, the area of the square is the number of sample and thus the weight used in the meta-analysis, and the horizontal line indicates the 95% CI. CI indicates confidence interval; HR, hazard ratio; NLR, neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio; OS, overall survival.
