The coating of web substrates is usually accomplished by using various forms of liquid coating. While appropriate for many applications, liquid methods often involve the use of hazardous solvents reaqmring special EPA per mits. In addition, certain coatings and specific performance features cannot be at tained when using liquid coatings. For these instances an alternate method of application can be accomplished by powder deposition.
