Abstract
Carpet Laminating is a process that has progressed from "Black Magic" to a science over the last thirty years. What is this strange science and what are the principles that govern it? This paper will try to answer these questions. Recently there has been a great interest in VOC emissions from carpet that has resulted in a renewed awareness of carpet backcoatings. This presentation will focus on five topics that directly relate to SBR Latex and Carpet Laminating: Market, SBR Latex Manufacture, Carpet Laminating, Carpet Emissions, and Market.
