Abstract
The successful application of hot melt technology to a laminating problem requires a system approach with a careful integration of adhesive selection and application equipment. A general review of application equipment for hot melt adhesives including powder lamination and hot melt gravure lamination along with a new system developed in Europe for laminating fabrics with reactive hot melts is discussed.
