Abstract
Nonwoven geotextiles impregnated with bituminous binder will in crease the service life of roads by delaying reflective cracking and providing an im permeable membrane inside the pavement structure
This paper describes the use and the function of a specially designed thermally bonded, nonwoven polypropylene geotextile in repaving of cracked roads.
An important application of a major road near Losheim (Germany) is described.
