Abstract
The manufacture, properties, fabrication techniques, and applications of a range of coated fabrics, intended for use as permanent building materials, are discussed. The materials are constructed from woven glass fabrics coated with filled fluorocarbon polymers. Particular reference is made to the unique combina tion of properties which can be achieved with these materials. Complex shapes can be fabricated and an indication of the types of structures in which these fabrics have already been used, is given.
