Abstract
At the request of Sage and the Journal Editor, the following article has been retracted:

Journal of Industrial Textiles was contacted by a reader requesting an investigation into this article, claiming that they provided significant contributions to the research that should have constituted authorship.
During an internal investigation, Sage became aware that the complainant had been listed as an author upon submission but was subsequently removed. In addition, there are indicators of peer review manipulation that suggest this article did not meet Sage’s standards of peer review.
Due to these findings and in line with COPE guidelines, this article has been retracted.
