A Local Response to a National Issue: Creating a Regional Nursing Workforce Center

Abstract

Establishing the importance of having and nurturing appropriate resources for the nursing profession on the local level, the members of the Northeast Ohio Nursing Initiative (NEONI) have been working diligently to define their mission and goals and obtain funding. NEONI recognized the supply and demand for nursing in Northeast Ohio and works at the local level to attract and educate persons in nursing using innovative techniques.
