Abstract
The growing need for collaborative assessment and intervention within the school setting has prompted the need for changes in the role of the speech-language pathologist (SLP) and the constructs of team design. Personal observations and reflections are offered to aid others who are actively seeking effective collaborative teaming. It provides our observations of, and personal perspectives about, interdisciplinary collaboration, stages of team development, and problems encountered.
