Abstract
This study presents a program designed to teach diversity of response. It was employed successfully with two language disordered subjects who used language in an inflexible and uncreative manner. Both subjects used a wider variety of language forms after intervention with this program. It is suggested that the approach to therapy outlined here may be particularly useful for teaching more creative and flexible language use to children who continue to need more structure than can be provided in a naturalistic setting.
