This special issue captures several threads in the ongoing evolution of sexual violence
prevention. The articles that follow examine an empowerment evaluation process with four
promising programs dedicated to preventing first-time male perpetration of sexual
violence, as well as evaluation findings. Both the evaluation approach and the programs
examined shed light on how sexual violence prevention can continue to be improved in the
future.
