Abstract
This article utilizes an integrative literature review to raise awareness of hate crimes as a form of workplace violence in today’s global work settings. This inquiry defines hate crimes in work settings and its related consequences affecting organizations and their employees along with the role human resource development (HRD) practitioners and researchers can play in the mitigation of hate crime in the workplace. This review offers specific recommendations to HRD practitioners and researchers.
