Abstract
After a brief consideration of the fundamental principles involved, a number of recent developments in the techniques of light control are reviewed. Particular reference is made to the application of injection moulding techniques to the manufacture of prismatic assemblies and the use of new aluminium alloys and finishing methods in the construction of specular reflectors. A method of distributed light control is also described, whereby a number of spaced locations may be lit by a single remote source.
