Abstract
The following “Recommended Values of Illumination” constitute a further revised version of the original values, prepared by the Technical Committee and issued by the Illuminating Engineering Society in March, 1936, as an indication of good modern practice and revised in August, 1938. The chief feature of the present edition is the modification of certain of the ranges of illumination in order to avoid overlapping.
