Abstract
This study is an investigation of the degree to which students possess the attitudes and beliefs for living in a world where national cultures are converging and civilization is becoming more international. It surveyed a sample of 701 college students to ascertain their global awareness and attitudes to internationalism. The research found that students had average levels of global awareness, and mixed beliefs about the United States’ involvement with other countries. The study postulated that international education will be the norm in the future.
