Abstract
Water flows through bodies and territories not only as a necessity but also as a conduit of meanings and relationships. This essay reflects on a transdisciplinary encounter between local and scientific knowledges during an artistic residency in the highland basin of the Río Grande, southern Mendoza, Argentina. Through performance, we co-produced knowledge with transhumant families. Walking, measuring, tasting, and sharing became practices that enacted a politics of care, reciprocity, and movement within rural territories.
