Abstract
We regret that a number of typographical and other errors occurred with relation to the above article at Volume 4, p. 386:
The name of the author, Mr. R B. M. Cotterrell, was incorrectly spelt in the contents page.
There was also the omission of an acknowledgment of the author's debt to Professor C. M. Campbell of Queen's University, Belfast, for his comments on an early draft of the article – which was in no way the fault of the author.
