In the evolving landscape of scientific information technology and its pervasive influence on college students’ lives through the internet, concerns around cyber information security among this demographic have heightened. Particularly, deficiencies in college students’ abilities to discern online information and their insufficient knowledge and skills in information security have drawn attention. This study delves into the current state and challenges of information security among college students in the digital realm, outlining corresponding preventive strategies. This research is vital for understanding cybersecurity.
