Abstract
This study employed the electrodeposition method to extract zinc from an ammonia re-extraction solution. The effects of different current densities, electrodeposition durations, electrode spacing, and stirring times on the electrodeposition efficiency were investigated. The experimental results showed that the best zinc electrodeposition performance and the highest current efficiency of 92.8% were achieved when the current density was 400 A/m2, the electrode spacing was 3 cm, no stirring was applied, and the electrodeposition process lasted for 5h. Electrodeposited zinc can convert and extract Zn2+, realizing resource recycling and showing promising industrial application prospects.
